New Boat Coming For 'Team 3'
‘Team 3' owner Adam Gilbert has been involved in negotiations to purchase the Class 2 Dubai-based Victory catamaran. He is confident the sale has reached fruition and hopes to land the proven 36' boat into
The sale does not include engines, with Gilbert confirming he will install the reliable 525hp MerCruiser engines with the Italian BPM surface drives.
Renowned race boat designer Michael Peters is responsible for the boat's design and a couple of seasons back it won the Class 2 World Offshore title when powered by BMW engines.
Gilbert will be entering the boat in the Offshore Superboat Championships next year in the highly competitive Supercat Lite class, where his current boat, ‘Team 3', is the series leader.
